It was working perfectly until this weekend. The gas is flowing normally but there is spark on the 2 burners and oven. I have changed the battery as described in the Eno manual but still no spark. There are no other maintenance instructions in the manual with regard to this issue. This is not a major problem as I can easily use a match to light it, but I would like to fix it. Is there anything else I should try before pulling it apart?
Thanks a lot,
Bob.

I had that problem and it turned out to be a faulty ignitor button. They are pretty low quality buttons. It is easy to test if you just pull the button out, disconnect the wires and touch them together. I decided I wanted to get a nicer looking, better quality button, so I went to an electronics store to get a replacement.

Thanks Zaphod. That could be the answer and an easy fix. I'll give it a shot this week.

Pretty certain there are 3 main points of failure.
1) Switch Not a great switch as already mentioned and easy to check. You can also check if there'e power at the switch, see 2 if multi-meter doesn't show a voltage.
2) Battery box I remember ours giving up when the battery went flat and a fresh battery didn't work. I cleaned up some corrosion inside the base, used some Contralube 770 and played around a bit with the spring in the cap before it worked again. Might not be getting any power from the battery.
3) HT unit failure Less common but I did see this once on a 4 burner version. It was a while ago but I think it had more than one HT unit and only a couple of burner ignitions failed. It's possible the 2 burner version only has one unit. This bit is just guesswork as it was years ago and I've forgotten the details.

Thanks for the advice. I'll report back when I have sorted it which may be helpful for others.

Flame King was purchased to replace the Suburban cooktop installed in the outside fold-down "camp kitchen" on my fifth wheel RV. It appears to be a far superior product even at its modest price. The other shock and surprise I got are that this stove has dual ignitors (no batteries or power required). The stove is relatively lightweight, but once installed is plenty sturdy. In summary, I am extremely happy with this and impressed by its quality.

Hi Zaphod, how did you get to the inside of the panel where the igniter switch is mounted? I have a problem with the gas taps on my stove. They work fine from cold but if the oven is on they seize up and are very difficult to turn when everything gets hot. I am hoping that it may just be a lubrication problem. There does not seem to be an obvious way to get in. Cheers Rob

I don't remember for sure, but I believe there are a couple of small screws one the underside of the front panel and then it just pops off. I will confirm if I go down to the boat this evening. EDIT: I just checked...you pull the far left and far right knobs off and you will find the screws holding the face plate on. It is strange that your gas valves get tighter when they heat up. They should not heat up very much...

The links are always invisible and go to the same website.

Thanks Zaphod, never thought of looking there. Most times we only use the stove top for coffee etc, but the oven does get a workout when we go way on a longer trip.
