I acquired a new 2019 Leader 9.0 CC this past August.
I am just now trying out the generator. With no luck. I primed with the bulb primer until it was firm. The generator started and ran for a few minutes before stalling out. It sounded like it ran out of fuel. The 2 left lights on the LED panel were illuminated. I waited a couple minutes, re-primed, and stared. It did start, but ran for a shorter time before stalling out again. The same light came back on.
Does anyone have suggestions as to what might be the problem?
Thanks Greg

Did you check to see if the valve for the water inlet was open, also check the strainer going to generator for blockage . Some generators have a sensor to shut down if no cooling water is flowing to engine.

It sounds like we have the same issue and it's tough to find help or information on how to fix it. There is a high pressure fuel pump inside of the fuel module on the back of the generator. If this pump fails or doesn't produce enough pressure it will only run for about 12 seconds and then putter out. You can push the stop button and it should make the high pressure pump run. If you don't hear it run, then the pump is fouled. I took mine out and had it cleaned by a shop and that fixed it. You may need a new pump. Westerbeke won't sell just the pump, so you are on your own or you have to buy and entire fuel module on the generator. It sounds like you have a fuel issue and I chased my tail for 6 months figuring this out. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I got the generator running today. I'm guessing there was air in the fuel line. The other possibility is that the generator doesn't get fuel if the tank feeding it goes below half empty. The only things different this time I tried it were 1) pumped the bulb primer about 10 times, 2) topped off the tanks. The right tank took 42 gal so had roughly 28 gal in it still.
I also got the A/C working for the first time. Heating and cooling was very effective. I feel like I'm on a "real" yacht now.

Other subject, do you have comments about your Jabsco toilet?

Other subject, do you have comments about your Jabsco toilet? I saw your questions from the other thread. Details about the Jabsco toilet installation 1. Activ carbon filter? I am not sure 2. Rise from toilet to reach waste tank? I haven't measured, but I would guess 2ft. 3. Toilet and waste tank on the same side?( starboard, portside) Both on starboard. 4. Performance of Jabsco manual toilet? So far it seems to be working fine. There is a button I am not sure about. I think it might be to pump over board. Currently I am operating it manually. Here are the two buttons in the head. The one on the left drains shower water from the floor. The one on the right is the one I'm not sure about. I hear a pump running but doesn't seem to do anything. I am only using the holding tank, no over board pumping.

Thanks for the answer You have a good installation that I wish to have. For the NC895sport, Jeanneau did: Toilet on starboard, waste tank on portside, probably 15 to 18 feet horizontal run and +/- 4 feet head rise between toilet and waste tank and the tank is at bed's head with the vent close to window and no activ carbon filter. It is why I start the thread to get input from NC895SPORT owner.
