Hi
i want to add extra lights in the cockpit overhang so want to remove the existing cockpit to access wires. I know you remove rim and unscrew but it appears to be glued/sealed down. I noted on another thread someone say they managed it but any advice?
i’m guessing try and get knife blade in to cut sealant? Maybe a little heat to soften?
any advice appreciated.
thanks

Hi
I’m also interested in how to access cabel ducts from roof to helmstation. Thinking of solar panel mount on the roof and then the ”small” problem on how to get the cables down to the hull. Another thread showed just outside mount and spole about that cables were laid from cockpit light down, in the same dumt. But if you can’t access behind cockpit light... how is this done? Seen some pictures on roof mounted solarpanels, how is wireing conducted? Anyone?

I spoke with Dave at Sundance on how to access the roof cavity for pulling wires. His suggestion was to pull the stereo speakers. It felt like one of those duh moments.
On the lighting front, would love to add a "red" LED light (ideally white with a red option) but I cannot seem to find the vendor Jeanneau is using for the existing lights.

WARNING!
Hold on to the speaker when removing the screws. It's heavy and gravity is ready help it smash your stove. No serious damage, got lucky.
