Hi All,
We have a Jeanneau 53 with three A/C units. All units are discharging the condensed water into the bilge.
When humidity is high the result is that the bilge pump runs frequently which can be quite annoying during the night.
I believe there was a post about this a year or two ago with ideas for a solution to this problem but I am unable to locate it.
Anyway, good ideas to resolve this would be highly welcome

Here’s your solution, works like a dream: www.mmair.com/marine-division/accessories/mermaid-condensator/

You could capture it. Condensate from an A/C system is pure clean water. You could use it, or just pump it out at a less annoying time!

You can solve it easily by deploying a simple Bruss one way valve at the end of the bilge pump pipe . Get such valve for a couple of $ at any home store. Very efficient.

I have six air conditioner units on my catamaran and they all empty into a sump with a bilge pump type pump. Works like a charm. The shower also drains into it so no need for a button in the shower to pump water ovarboard. About $100 at Defender www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=2100903

No electricity needed. It worked very well . Its the same principal they used to suck "liquid fertilzer" into a spray hose. They come in all hose sizes so you will need to find one that works for you. You really don't need much suction flow. When the pan is "dry" and the venturi injector is sucking air you will know as your AC water squirting out the side of your boat will look more like a foam than a clear jet stream.
