I've always assumed that the 42DS and 44DS were 2 cabin models but I've recently become aware of a 44DS for sale that is stated as 3 cabins. I've tried searching online and the photos and layout plans are not good enough to give me a clear impression of the setup and size of the 3rd cabin.
Does anyone have any good pics of the interior of a 3 cabin 44DS or a link to some good shots or a walkthrough video?
Thanks!

Just answered my own question by finding this link (the 2 cabins in the bow are near the end):
But now I have concerns about the headroom in the master cabin and ability to sit up in bed and read a book - look v tight...

I am on my 4th year owning a 44 DS 3 cabin model. The 3rd cabin has bunk berths which are a little over 6 feet length. The main stand up area in this cabin is 44 inch length and total width of about 4 feet. The cabin includes a 3 fooot high cabinet for hanging clothing. The cabin is tight but a person can stand up and dress/undress. This cabin would serve well for children or visiting grandchildren. We use the cabin for storage stacking the mattress on the top bunk. I fashioned a lee cloth for the lower berth to hold storage bins in place and place soft goods( life jackets, cushions, bedding) on the top berth. The aft cabin has king size berth with ensuite head/shower. The head room at rear of berth is tight. Not enough height to sit up in the berth. If head room is a issue one could always sleep side to side or your head towards the bow. This is our 2nd DS model and we well enjoy the head room and light in the salon that the DS model provides. Happy to answer any questions or provide more detail if requested.

If possible, next time you’re at your boat could you measure the actually distance from the mattress to the ceiling in the aft cabin at the aft end - in other words where you would normally have your head if you were sleeping fore/aft orientation?

head room in aft berth is 25 inches. we have 2 inch memory foam so our head room is about 23 inches. I am able to comfortably prop up on a couple pillows to read. Again, if you like the boat but not the aft cabin one could always turn the mattress sideways or reverse it. Another option may be a 439i but I don't believe the 439 offers a master stateroom aft.
