Jeanneau Owners Facebook Group - now has 5000 members I realise that many people do not like Facebook, and I also consider that this forum has numerous advantages, and I along with all the great moderators here are committed to ensuring this forum remains active and relevant long-term. But for information, and for those who do like Facebook, our associated group now has over 5000 Jeanneau Owners and they are also a well mannered and civilized crowd - as you would expect from being Jeanneau Owners. It is a now a private group, so you will need to request to join and posts can only be viewed by members. www.facebook.com/groups/jeanneauowners/
Thanks for everyone's ongoing participation here too Malcolm

Be interesting to know how many active users here also use the FB option as well?
I deleted my FB account many years ago when I was working in the industry and came to realise the risks - most of my colleagues and contacts in the high tech industry also have virtually zero social media footprint.
I hope I’m not missing out on too much interesting content on the Jeanneau FB group that doesn’t make it here. But even if I am, wild horses couldn’t drag me back to FB!

The FB group has a good following and whilst has many more posts than the forum they tend to be far more immediate day to day issues, photos of boats, anchorages etc. The lack of practical sorting and FB bizzare algorithms also means it can be difficult to navigate back to earlier posts. The big advantage FB has it is simple to post photos... I attempt to keep valuable FB when possible and also promote this forum there from time to time. Don't have any idea or way of knowing without doing a survey of the overlap but don't think it is huge.
