I have a SO 42i with a E series plotter, Ray5 5e VHF and Class B AIS. I am trying to connect an iPad with navionics boating using a Yakker wifi router. Can anyone suggest where I would get a NMEA 0183 OUTPUT to connect to the Yakker.

Your mfd should have a nema183 port on the rear panel. If your auto pilot. Is similar vintage to your e series mfd your auto pilot computer should Also have a nema 183 in and out signal port. The Ray Marine web site has pdf manuals to view for your mfd and auto pilot which should give you Direction.

Do you have the kinda rectangular connections on the back of the instruments, Seatalk connections? I'm pretty sure these are NMEA0183. Should just have to cut off one those to expose the wires and then wire them up as per the Yakker guide.

Hi Kemlo,
It may helps to say which E series Raymarine product it is. The old E screens (E120,E80, etc) have a different configuration to the newer screens that also can have an "E" in their model number.

Trevor
