Thank you! We had a Beneteau 321 for 20 years and it was time to upgrade. This forum has been very helpful to me already.

Have you found a home for your new boat? NSSC in Anchor Bay would love to have another active Jeanneau sailor join the club!

We will dock at the Grosse Pointe Farms Pier Park Marina. This is 1/2 mile from our house.
Anchor Bay is far away but sounds like a nice place!

Welcome Chris, We have an older 379 that we absolutely love. You will get a lot of enjoyment from your 389! I was raised just off lake St. Clair up the Thames River, and spent time with my grandparents that lived in Detroit just off Chalmers near you. We have not been sailing in your area, but may consider bringing Balaton up the lakes as a bucket list trip. Looking forward to summer!

We have been up to the Thames River several times. Nice trip for us.
Thanks for the nice welcome!
