Folks, I posted way back that our 895 came with a faucet in the head that only had an aerated flow vs. a shower spray. We haven't showered aboard because we haven't had the need, and there was no shower spray or shower handle mount. I surfed around extensively and found a reasonable replacement.

It's on Amazon: Ambassador Marine Aidack Collection Head/Shower Combo Faucet, Chrome
2 limitations; 1. I had to buy the entire fixture for $84.14, but the handle fits both the extension hose and the slot in the existing fixture perfectly. 2. The shower select button must be held in the shower position, but I suspect a strong rubber band may resolve this issue.
Sundance Portland found us an easy and very clean/nice looking suction mount for the shower holder. I think it'll be nice to suction it exactly where you need it for the flow. Thanks Jarrod and Co.
Pictured are the new faucet in the box (minus the installed handle) and the original dribble faucet that came with the boat.
Good news/bad news, the shower flow isn't super strong (way... way better than dribble faucet), but hopefully that makes for less collateral damage and water blasting all over the head. I just winterized the fresh water. So, no test showering as of yet. Stay tuned for our spring break trip to hear how we like it.

Thanks for the tip on the shower wand. A Regular shower spray pattern is nice. We have been using the one that came with the boat and i actually like the way it puts water out. A sailboater friend suggested a shower curtain. I was able to find one the right size and install hangers for it using those stick on removable wall hangers. It actually works great and keeps most everything dry although of course there’s not much room. If any interest I’ll take pictures and provide more info. Separate from this what’s odd is that the fwd end of the head floor (shower stall floor) is perhaps 1/2 in lower at the fwd end. The drain is in the aft end. So when finished there is always a bit of water that has to be swished back to the drain.

I just installed hot water in my 805 and decided the shower in the heads was pretty much useless as a shower as no headroom so I plumbed in a shower on the rear deck under the awning. Drains into lazerette drain. Not tried it yet but it will be great as loads of room.

Need to use desktop application, either on a laptop or scroll down on the mobile version and choose desktop option Malcolm
