Hi All,
I'm a newbie, so please be gentle...;-)
I want to replace my Sealine S23 with a Merry Fisher 925. At the moment I have a mooring that drys to very soft deep mud about 1/2 an hour either side of low tide.
My S23 with a VP stern drive has no problem, but I need to confirm that a MF 925 can take the mud and not cause a problem with the shaft drive..etc
TIA Rob

Hi Rob, welcome to the forum. Don’t worry, you will find it a friendly place to hang out and talk to like minded people, and a wealth of good information in the files of previous posts.
Despite having a boat specifically designed to dry out, I have no experience of drying out, I chose it for the shallow draft, so desirable in our lake system. But I think it is a good question. Certainly your experience with your previous boat is a good sign, but I hope some of our power boat owners will come in with more information.
