Hello everyone! My wife and I took delivery of our new 795 NC Sport on March 28th, 2019. I'm just getting around to joining the forum. I've been viewing it for some time, and have really enjoyed seeing all the submission. I've learned a lot.
We couldn't be more thrilled with our selection. My wife and I were center console folks, and are serious fisher people. We keep our boat in New Jersey on Barnegat Bay, and usually begin our season in late March, and haul the boat around the end of November. It can get cold out there in early spring and late fall. We spend a lot of time fishing the bay, and an equal amount of time in the ocean. So far we've ventured as far as 30 miles off shore in search of tuna. The Jeanneau 795 NC Sport has turned out to be the perfect combination for us. My wife gets the comfort of a completely enclosed pilothouse, and I still enjoy the walk around capability of a center console for fishing. We have the three door model which adds to the boat's versatility. On the flip side, we enjoy cruising and entertaining, and the NC Sport is perfect for that too. We even had my 95 year old mom out on the boat in late March in choppy seas and a 20 knot wind. She was completely comfortable.
Looking forward to being an active member of the Owner's forum.

Congrats Carsky, I am amazed that your Mom found the ride comfortable in 20knot wind choppy seas. I have the 795 NC (non sport), and I found things a bit uncomfortable in 15knot and 2 foot swells. I'm still getting used to the smaller size as I had a 32ft Bayliner 3218 before. Still I am enjoying the 795. May I ask what cruise speed you do in the 20knot wind?

Hi Carsky,
My husband and I took delivery of our 795 NC Sport in May. We were returning it to the dealer in Brick for the winter on Saturday, October 19 and I think it was you and your wife we passed under the bridge on the river into Barnegat Bay. It was like looking in a mirror! We keep it in Brooklyn and spend time fishing in the ocean and Jamaica bay, plus a week at the shore in NJ every summer. We had the first Jeanneau in the marina, but we're starting to see them out in the water more often lately. We're very happy with the boat, and recently spent the night on it. Looking forward to next season!

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Yes, it was great seeing you under the route 35 bridge. It was the first time I had seen one on the water. Got a kick out of watching you get it up on a plane after leaving the bridge area. Looked great.
I hope you are enjoying yours as much as we are. Noticed you have the cockpit table. We didn't get that option.
Enjoy!

Malcolm Got to take it slow, but chop is an everyday occurrence on Barnegat Bay, whether from wind, or boat traffic, or both! I agree, the 795 can slap a bit if you over do it. Unlike you, we upsized to the 795 from a 20' Scout.
