Does anyone have a data sheet or info on the proper rake for a SO36.2 with a 44 foot z diffusion mast.. Im getting very little weather helm and feel like the mast is too forward. If anyone knows the ideal measurement from the mast to a weighted halyard, around boom height for this size rig, I would appreciate hearing. Thanks

There are a number of factors that could result in more or less weather helm. There is no "optimum" mast rake, just a baseline starting point. I have never heard of using a plumb line to measure rake. I would think that method would be inaccurate because the measurement would be affected by mast prebend as well as fore/aft trim of the boat itself.
If you feel you want a little bit more weather helm you could simply lengthen your forestay a bit and tighten you backstay. Count the number of turns you rotate the turnbuckle so you can put it back to where it was if you dont like the results. Depending on your rig design that adjustment may affect your shroud tension to a greater or lesser degree.
