Hello All, I am new in the forum. I recently bought 755 Merry Fischer 2013. I have some question. I will be glad if someone has some ideas - I want to change chain locker door however I couldn't reach back side of the screws. Do you know how can I disassembly the door? or how can I reach that area? you cannot access from the door in back of mirror. - Resistance of Fridge fall down and created a hole in the fresh water tank. I used sun fix to fix it but I am not sure if it is ok or not? Is there any possibility use some fiberglass repair kit to fix plastic water tank? does anyone also knows that is the brand of original water tank. - Roof seals are not in good condition. Did anyone refresh the seals in roof? - Many thanks

Hi Bogac, Congratulations on the new purchase and welcome to the forum. Despite the initial teething problems, I am sure the boat will give you much pleasure in the years to come.
With the anchor locker screw access, is it possible that the back of the cupboard behind the mirror can be removed? But perhaps someone familiar with the particular boat will come in on that one.
The water tank issue sounds unfortunate. Do you mean the fridge insulation? It is possible to do a repair with fibreglass, but the technique depends on how much room you have for access to do the repair. And of course, the first thing is to secure the part of the fridge that caused the problem.
Another possibility is to do a plastic weld repair, preferably by an experienced tradesman with the right equipment, it all depends on the nature of the hole and the access. Perhaps you can try posting a picture - see the appropriate threads for instructions on doing this.
In the mean time, buy a couple of 20 litre plastic jerry cans for drinking water, so you can start using your boat.
Ships chandlers generally have a range of seal rubber profiles on rolls where you can purchase replacements by the metre. You need to take good note of the profile on your boat, or better still remove a sample to take with you, and of course measure the length you need of each profile.
And how about posting a little introduction to yourself on the Welcomes board, where in the world you are located and how you intend to use your boat. It helps us all get to know you. You will find many friendly like minded people here, it’s a good place to hang out.
