I have an issue with my bow thruster on my 2013 Jeanneau 509. The Bow thruster will not engage when pressed. If gives 5 flashing green lights and beeps, Has anyone run across this issue? I can find any code in manual that can tell me the issue. Batteries are fully charged, Engine is running. Bow Thruster doesn't power up

There should also be a fuse and relay close to the bowthruster battery bank, perhaps that has blown.

Thanks I'll check the fuse when I'm back on the boat this weekend.

The Dealer mentioned a possible faulty heat senor too as a possibility.

A faulty overheating sensor would result in a flashing error code, wouldn't it? I took a quick look at an example thruster documentation and it mentioned blinking green for overheating, but you said it flashed 5 times and that this wasn't in the manual?

The heat sensor was cut out of our system a number of years ago without issue. So you could cut the sensor out of the system. If no change you reconnect it with a in-line crimp connector.
It may also be the Control Box. Easy to change out. We only had power to one side of the thruster so changed out the box and reinstalled the heat sensor. All working fine now.

I’ll cut the heat senor and powered right up. Thanks for the tip and will order a replacement from Max

Great news. Well done. www.peachment.co.uk/product/heat-sensor-ct35/Also, I found the bolt hole on the new sensor was a smaller diameter than the original. I had to file it open. I felt drilling might damage the sensor. Took some time but patience worked. Ian

Does anyone know the location for the Max Power Bow Thruster Control Box fuse ? I replaced my Heat Senors, but also needed to Jury rig the the control box directly to the battery for a power source ? All works well, but no safety protection now. The boat is new to me with limited manuals, so any assistance with Bow Thruster Control Box fuse location would save me the time of going thru the boat.
