Such dinghy supports were made by a local craftsman according to my plans made of inox pipe 2" in diameter. I can easily lift the dinghy onto my hands using the pulley. It can also be raised when a Yamaha F2.5 engine is installed. In the last picture you can see the bracket on the port side, where there is also a bracket for the dinghy motor.

I bought a Takacat LX260 for my Weekender I'm taking delivery of this week. I'm planning to stow in above on the racks like a previous post. I also went with the Torqueedo electric out board. I'll let you know how it works out.

I think I may just ditch the dinghy and stay with these inflatable boards/kayaks. Very light and easy to take up and down. And easily stow in cockpit compartment during non-use periods. These boards have seats that clip on top when you want to use as a Kayak. Amazingly comfortable. Anyone that’s interested… if you look close you will see a white and black “spacer” under the aft end of the boards. That’s to keep the fin attach points near the rear of the boards from running against the aft salon roof. I made from 1 x 4 cedar painted white and then added stick on neoprene rubber to top and bottom. The fwd end of the boards rests on the glass and the salon roof a bit. Capt’n Lynn

Hello everyone, A few weeks ago I ordered a stainless steel arch for the stern of the boat (above the outboard motors) in order to put the dinghy on it and stow the 2.5CV outboard on one of its sides. I leave you some photos and if any of you need the Autocad plan with the measurements we have used, send me a private message and I will send it to you. Regards, Jesús;

I have been carrying it on the upper part as in your image until spider cracks appeared in the gelcoat of the joint of the rack with the roof. So then I moved into this solution.
