Does anyone know what this corner piece is for? It just gets in the way.

On ours it protects the electric motor that powers the swim step up and down.

Strange, all the bits for my stern platform are on the port aft bulkhead behind a wooden panel.

My mistake. That corner piece in the port aft hatch protects the hydraulic pump for the autohelm, not the swim step winch.

did you ever get an answer from Jeanneau? We are also puzzled what this is on our boat.

Nope, they’ve been terrible at responding to any requests for clarity on things.
Emailed them 6 times about removing deckheads to get to the mesh/sun screen. Eventually had to just wing it and trial and error the whole thing....that was not a fun couple of days.

I am hull 325. The hydraulic pump and attached motor for the auto pilot are tucked up under the corner piece you are talking about. It is a purpose cover for the factory installed System.
