Next revision will be with support for Primary and Slave - e.g. monitoring your boat from friends/partner phone/watch when you are at the taverna

But does it use apple/goggles maps or do you have to buy the charts/maps for your area?

But does it use apple/goggles maps or do you have to buy the charts/maps for your area? It uses apple map - no need to buy anything and it also show the depth if available when the anchor point has been recorded. Let me know if you want a free promo code and I can send you one

I would certainly be interested in giving it a try. The one I currently have is far from good in a number of respects.

Hi Vasko. I have your Navigator Pro app which has an anchor alarm module. Does that Apple Watch upgrade work with that too? Many thanks

The new one is Anchor Alarm with Late Set, which means it's not a simple update. It's a new purchase.

If you do not have update for the navigator in your country apple store - it just may take 1-2 days to apear - this is apple policy some countries are updated before others...

When I search for your company "B2N Ltd" in the App store (US) I see only three apps listed:
- Boat Vitals BLE
- Anchor Alarm with Late Set
- Sky Based Weather Navigator
I'll be patient and wait a couple of days to see what happens.

One last quick question from me.
When used in the map mode does the circle of swing show. Ie can you set a cycle/warning in relation to what is showing on the map?

Primary/Slave monitoring e.g. leave on phone on the boat and monitor the movement from a second phone in the pub 2. Area definition on the map for anchor alarm - btw - do you want a free promo code for the app ?

Go in App Store and scroll down to refresh - you should have a update for Sky Based Weather Navigator .... the version is 3.9.3 Yes, this worked. I was quite surprised that the app didn't offer to update, which is what most if not all of the other apps do on my iPhone.
Thanks!

I just bought this app, mainly for the anchor alarm. But I just opened the app and noticed this disclaimer: "The phone has to be locked and the watch unlocked on your wrist [to receive the watch alert]."
Having the phone locked is no problem, but I was really hoping to be able to have this anchor alarm go off if the boat starts drifting while I am asleep. If I'm sleeping, I think the Apple Watch will lock itself? Which means I wouldn't get the alarm. Any thoughts?

Apple is very tricky with the watch inbrief: If wrist detection is turned on, I believe the watch won't lock itself. But anyway until we find a better solution we'd recommend that you rely on the phone's alarm and not the watch.

The watch will be unlocked as long as it stays on your wrist.
If you have the lock turned on then it will activate when removed from your wrist.

Many thanks. Having the phone nearby isn't a problem, I was just wanting something which would alarm if I'm sleeping in the forward berth and don't hear the anchor alarm on the MFD going off.

I have stopped using the MFD anchor alarm long ago and completly trust on the Anchor Alarm on my iPhone - usually save my boat about 2-4 times every summer The thing that I was missing is to be able to have alarm while in the pub - now this can be done with the watch if it has SIM card and the new comming version with primary and slave - e.g I will be able to leave my phone on the boat and receive alarms and monitor the boat on my wifes phone., For long periods on anchor I use the boat-vitals anchor monitor

Would it be hard to have the app display the course and speed, or even just speed? Even if it's just using the phone's GPS? Right now to show the boat's speed on my apple watch I have to use Seanav or iSailor.
