I am planning on spending most of my winter in the Bahamas this year. Anyone else? I’d like to keep an eye out for any other jeanneau owners. I know that there are lots of Jeanneaus in rental fleets there but would be nice to meet some of you.

We are headed down late OCT from NC and will cross over to the Abacos right after Thanksgiving. After that we usually travel the length and breadth of The Bahamian Cays within the constraints of the weather. Our boat name is "Chanceux" so look forward to seeing you this season.

We had a great 5 day offshore sail from Virginia to Marsh Harbor. We had to start crossing the Gulf Stream in a North breeze and the boat handled the big swell very well. Will be in Abacos till about December 10 then heading down to the Exumas. SO469 with the name Moon Shadow prominently displayed on stern and both now sides. Anytime one of you sees us please stop by or give a call.

Update from Georgetown Exumas. A bit over two months on this trip so far. All has been great on my Jeanneau. The beamy cockpit has been a site for a few cruisers dinners and the fishing has been great. I might never get through the food I have frozen from home! Interesting to note that there were a lot of Jeanneaus sailing in the Abacos but not many in the Exumas. Odd.

Always a favorite of ours with the best sailing in the Bahamas. Hope you are enjoying the Exumas- Regards,
