Just came back from a week long regatta at Sail Port Stephens, about 160kms north of Sydney. Always a great week and weather was sensational. The organisation of this regatta is always excellent and they use drones extensively to capture the offshore action so I thought I would share one of the video links with you.
Here is one of the aerial videos the organisers took during race day 6, we can be seen around 45 seconds in (Sail no 6307).
In the end there were I think 13 Jeanneaus in the total fleet of around 80, a brand new (3 days old) 440, couple of 349's, 2 sunfast 36's, a sunfast 3200, a 469, a 419, a 36i, a 39i P, a 51 and a 36.2.

SPS is a regatta of 2 halves. First 3 races are the Commodores Cup for the entire fleet, so there were 3 divisions of approx 30 boats each. We came 2nd in Div 3, 1st was a Sunfast 3200, 3rd was an 8m sports boat. Most of the Jeanneaus were in this div
After the lay day the last 3 races are for the Port Stephens Trophy and the NSW IRC Championships. In the PS Trophy races there were 2 divisions and we came 10th of 30, but only 2 days of racing as a gale cancelled racing on the last day.
