Good morning, We picked up our own '07 39DS a couple of weeks ago. Had quite the adventure getting it to its new home in Southern Spain. Took a leisurely 6 days down the east coast, around Cabo de Gata and into the Costa del Sol. Got a good feel under sail and power, some heavy weather with following seas, an amazingly poor parking spot at one marina which provided much entertainment for the locals but satisfied me as to my ability to successfully extract the boat with out damage and a vow of "trust but verify". All said, I am very pleased. This brings me to the present. There is much to learn. I will be reviewing my notes and will be begging for information with future posts! Technical issues first. How about starting with the toilet? It has a Jabsco electric conversion. This made it all the way home then stopped pumping fresh water during the cycle (extract is fine, verified by using the shower water) but will not rinse. No blockage from the inlet thru-hull, but no water. It may have lost the prime, since there is no water in the hose to the pump. But the hose is routed very high and I can't figure how to fill it. Suggestions? For sure there will be more to come! Thanks for being here!

Don't know how the electric conversion works but in the Jabsco liteflush there are two rubber belts. When one breaks you will lose fill or extraction.
Count your blessings it is the fill that has failed - If you know what I mean!
Jabsco have produced a number of maintenance videos for their products that can be located on YouTube.
Enjoy your boat and good luck.

Which Jabsco head? I have one of these and the fresh water is supplied by the pressure water pump. I assume that you'd know if you had no pressure water on the boat and it's unlikely that a blockage has formed in the fresh water piping. So the problem is likely to be the valve that controls the flow. It's either an electrical or mechanical problem with that valve. If you have some other model head, post the model here and someone will help you to think it through.

If it’s the one with a white tube between the bottom and top sections, that hose is blocked. You’ll need to remove the pump and clear smaller channel in the bottom section as well as the hose. I had to use a small drill bit about 4mm from both sides as it does a right angle turn.
the water is getting blocked from the top section flush water impeller to the lower discharge impeller

Ken, It seems there are a lot of different models out there. It would be helpful if you could specify which model you have.

Thank you all for the input. I'll get the specifics of the system when next on the boat. All I can pull from memory right now is that it used to be a manual action pump and was converted to electric by the previous owner. Also, this just ran out from wherever memories go - the pump uses a 29101-0000 impeller repair kit. That might be of some help. I'll be back next week - have to catch some skiing during the short break between student holidays. I don't remember having so many holidays 50 odd years ago. Children must be so very clever these days!
Thank you all again!
