Jeanneau replaced all windows on my previuos SO 45DS. The removed with electric knive and wooden wedges. Then they filled all gaps between the inner and outer hull with polyester filler, sanded and degreased with acetone. Then they applied a primer 3M P591, then 503 polyurethane glue and finished outside with 354 silicon seal. The primer must be applied on the hull and the window, and the part with primer must be degreased. Iamanouk, if you read this – I‘d be interested to know if Jeanneau worked from the inside and if so, how much of the panelling they had to remove. Our windows have also started leaking, and ideally, we‘d like to remove the window panes i/o just filling up the gap (unsure how long that would last, as it’s difficult to get the surfaces completely clean). Anyone else have any experience with this?
