Well, that's really cool. Another unintended/unexpected consequence. Geoff I'm also interested in what happens about UK boats that are still in Europe after the 19th March 2019. I know there are some that have innovative ways around this. For myself we'll move back the NW Spain and may go back to our mooring in Scotland until we see what falls out. Ian

FYI : according to today's EU publication most likely nothing will change till 2021 - e.g. far far in the future... my suggestion is to enjoy your sailing and revisit about 2020...

I suspect that it's going to be more of an issue for professional yachtsmen and maybe charterers than it will be for cruisers on their UK reg boat. I'm guessing there has not been a great deal of Aussies, Kiwis, Canadians, Americans etc cruising with the ICC.
Malcolm with his Swedish flag can cruise nordic waters without any certification as it's not required for his yacht.
