We have the P :)rofurl furling mechanism on our SO 37. I need to raise the extrusion part of the mechanism higher up on the forestay. Have not been able to decide how to do it. Do I loosen the set screw{s} on the front of the furler? Hopefully someone knows. I e mailed Profurl but no response.

I installed a Proful system on my old Cascade 42. From what I recall the aluminum extruded tubing is fitted in section which was slipped over the forstay. I had to remove the stay at the bottom, slide the tubing and drum up the stay, cut tubing to length desired then refit the drum bracket and stay back to the base. I would assume you will have to go through the same process.
Also if you go onto the Profurl web site, (don't have right now) I believe they have an installation guide on it.
Good Luck
