Has anyone found screens for the stateroom and head opening hatches and the sunroof? for the NC11 These are cheap and you will not loose them easily: www.waterlinedesign.eu/collections/mosquito-netDo not try to order fitting screens for the hatches from Lewmar: they are beyond expensive. The sunroof has a very large opening: you could measure the size: perhaps the 900 x 1800 companionway screen from waterline will cover it: if not: buy two overlapping ones.

Interested to hear if anyone has created or found insect screen/s for the sliding doors? Thanks!

I had one made up from a light screen material, i had a canvas shop sew a 1.5" trim of black canvas on all four sides with velcro on one side top and bottom, i then used a couple of self adhesive velcro buttons top and bottom to hold it in place. it just folds up when not in use.

Thanks, I'm thinking to do something similar. We have some pretty wicked mosquitoes, especially in northern Michigan. Love everything about the boat, but we need a better insect protection system.

I found a company in Kentucky if I recall that made me some great screens. If you still need details let me know and I can send. They may have my measurements on file for you.

Took me a bit to find the place I bought from. Actually in Georgia. They made custom for the sliding doors on NC 11. Velcro holds on so can remove and magnets between the two panels. They might have my measurements in file for you if you contact them. Here is the site. www.mosquitocurtains.com/boat-screens/ I tried but but failed to find a solution for the sunroof. Contacted Jeanneau and the company that made the sunroof to no avail. In the end I put an external sunblock material on the outside that covers the opening, like the windshield cover, but not exactly air tight for the bugs. We bought some netting with Velcro tape and cut custom mesh sizes to Velcro to hatches in head and starboard cabin and also the salon window and helm door. Works great. With the sliding door, helm door and window screened there is good ventilation if you're on the hook overnight with no AC.
