Has anyone extended or relocated the genoa fairlead car track aftward? Voyageur's new 135% genny has a higher-cut tack that needs the car placed aft of the track end for optimum sheeting angle when close-hauled. Advice/impressions are much appreciated, if anyone's done this!

This is probably well after the fact, but you could consider adding a clew board to the sail instead, allowing different attachment points for the sheet. With that you may be able to sheet the sail from a lower point, simulating the effect of sheeting from a point further aft on the boat. You could talk to your sailmaker about it. Clew boards are used on self tacking sails when you cannot adjust the sheeting position fore/aft because of the track.
