Me too. I took delivery of "Anjeanneau" on 10-22-05, then had surgery on 25th. We have been out a few times, and looking forward to a whole lot more in the next 7 months during our better sailing weather (San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands) Excitement about the boat helped me get through a very rough 2nd half of 2004.
We had one mishap. Lost a boarding gate lifeline. The little ring clips that Jeanneau had provided are not very secure and it evidently twisted out. The clevis pin landed on deck and the good stuff went to the bottom. Have since replace all of those little ring clips on the life lines with ss cotter pins.
The boat is a beauty and gets a lot of favorable attention. Handling and performance is everything I had hoped for.

I have a SO35 with 3YM30 with a 2-blade folding GORI propeller. Although the sailing performances are excellent, I am not satisfied when motoring: full power out of gear is 4000RPM; full power under gear is 2900RPM with overdrive system and 3100RPM without: at about 90% of the maximum power (2600RPM with overdrive) speed does not exceed 6.1-6.2kts. (I cleaned the hull last October). The performancesdecrease in the presence of head-on wind or sea (less than 5.7-5.8kts with a 15kts wind head-on and a 0.5-meter wave). Which cruising speed am I supposed to expect when motoring? I would have expected at least a 7kts speed under light sea and wind conditions. What could be the effect of a not perfectly clean hull on the speed in terms of kts' loss?

I took some measurements of the boat performance over the weekend. 22nd April. Conditions: Flat Calm, River, Into the tide, 1.0-1.1kts Wind 5kts average from dead aft 10 deg C
Engine: 3YM30 Yanmar, gearbox confirmed as 2.62:1, total hours 115. Shaft: 15mm spacer added to standard (as sketch supplied with order) to accomodate new installation Ambassador 3 blade stripper. Kiwiprop 3 blade feathering
Hull 2005: Blakes Tiger Cruiser. Regular scrub 2006: Keroc, applied 1st week April, launched 14th April.
Instruments GPS : JRC1800 Log: Navman 3100
1500RPM SOG: 4.4KTS LOG:3.5KTS
2000RPM SOG: 5.3KTS LOG 4.4KTS
2500RPM SOG:6.4 KTS LOG: 5.2KTS
3000RPM SOG: 7.2KTS LOG: 6.1KTS
3400RPM SOG: 7.6KTS LOG: 6.5KTS
3650RPM (WIDE OPEN THROTTLE) SOG: 7.9KTS LOG 6.7KTS
Reversing As previously advised, good stopping power. 4+ kts acheived in reverse( bathing platform awash)
Previous 2 blade general observation As advised on order form, I used to achieve 5.8kts LOG at 2000RPM, which I used as cruising speed. Engine was bedded in using 2400-2600 RPM at 6.2-6.4kts max for first 50 hours use. 7.4kts LOG speed achieved with clean bottom. Stern down, black smoke from engine, approx 34-3500 rpm I believe.
Have ordered new blades up 1/2 inch to 17 inch with pitch set to 22 degrees. This should lower the engine revs for better consumption, and a slightly higher top speed to match the previous standard 2 blade.
Very pleased with the Kiwiprop, and the UK agent.

"Eruffini': I get sad whenever I hear about someone else with bad Gori results, hopefully they do not get as bad as mine! www.geocities.com/haffiman37 On my SO37 with the 28 Yanmar and a Flex O Fold 3 blade 16 x 12 I cruise around 5 knots at 2000RPM, have top speed around 7,5-8 at full speed 3800 flat water. Burns aprox 42 liters/24 hours at 2000 rpm.
