Pay a lot of attention to your genoa halyard tension. I've found pointing ability is very sensitive to it as moving the camber significantly changes your leading edge. Our sail maker did a race with us earlier this season and didn't leave the halyard alone.
Also, try and keep the boat as upright as you can when going upwind in a breeze. Probably means your main trimmer is going to be very busy! Because the bottom is so wide and flat on a SF35 it really pays to keep her on her feet.
