I had installed a Starbucks system that grinds and dispenses the coffe to a heater then down to a stainless carafe. I had it installed with a solar switch and a proximity sensor so when it's dark and we walk by it starts making coffee. Perfect every morning. Wake up, use the head and the coffee is done. It runs on shore power and I had a special lithium battery and separate solar charger installed so we have no risk of poor quality coffee. We converted the forward water tank to auto fill the coffe maker through a britta filter. The coffee is stored in a custom vacuume unit so it's always fresh.

Hi everyone, great post on coffee, I wanted to share something with everyone here, I run and co-own a small coffee company, our site is www.coffee-direct.co.uk - i want to set an exclusive 12% discount off all orders for Jeanneau Owners forum users. Is it ok to post the voucher code here? I have only been on the forum for a while, but have already picked up some great tips and ideas and its kind of nice to give something back.

Hi Well guess coffee must now be Jeanneau related, simply by the length of this thread. And we all like discounts... If you could post the code and links on the board at: jeanneau.proboards.com/board/2/discounts-promotionsthat would be great cheers (if that is appropriate to coffee) Malcolm

Jura Ena Micro 1 - usual street price is £535 - e.g. £250 is less then 50% of the price - e.g. very good deal..
after putting everything in the equation and measuring the power consumption - the cost of one espresso on board with no shore power is exactly 0.42 AH from the 12v battery bank

I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do for coffee... we're complete snobs when it comes to our coffee.
I'm going to try a Bellman CX-25P... its a stovetop espresso "machine" and good for 2 double shots of coffee and a jug of microfoam milk. Also it is all corrosion protected so suitable for the boat environment.
Now I just need to find a grinder that will cut the mustard too... ideally it'll be a cone/conical grinder by hand (just to avoid a big machine to stow.

Dear ALL, on my 42DS I installed a Nespresso machine that can be attached to the inverter... And my life is dramatically improved!
