I have a Merryfisher 625 year 2005 I think. The felted rubber window channelling is wearing out on both sides and I have been trying everywher to get replacement fel withiout success. Jeanneau have not been much help - all I can get from them is a full replacement window kit at over £1000 each side ! Has anyone cracked this problem or got any ideas ? Any assistance very welcome.

HI,
As no one has replied a long shot might be the following.
A long time ago I used to own a Morris Minor Traveller and a Mini Minor which have sliding windows.
The track from memory may be similar width although my Fisher 655 has quite thick glass.
Parts for these classic cars are easily obtained and it may be possible to go down this route.
You may need to ask before you measure but when the windows are closed it is easily done.
Just a thought.
Don.
