Hello, I have a 2003 Prestige 32 with KAMD43's and HS45 Gearboxes. There must be a micro switch somewhere that prevents you starting the engines other than in neutral. I checked the Morse controls and the switch appears not to be there. Does anybody know, where it might be located?
Also, the manual that came with the boat (UK Supplied) has wiring diagrams in French. Do English versions exist?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Harald
Unfortunately I am no mechanic so will struggle with an exact answer, but usually you will find a small black button actually on the control box or occasionally back at the engine end where the cables come on to the engine/s. I don't have a cable throttled '32 in front of me or I would go and get you a better description, but hopefully that will make sense.
The manual! Yes, my esteemed French colleagues were very good at producing the manual in various languages with varying standards of translation. That is with the exception of the diagrams which were exclusively in French. Easy for an engineer as the legends were the same, but for those of us with no more than O'level Franglais and CSE grade 3 in ICT a little tougher. Sorry, not the right answer, but I can recommend Google Translate to help you understand.
No help to you whatsoever, but the latest line up of high end Jeanneau have the diagrams in English for us "Roast Beefs".
What is the name of your boat Harald? I may well know her if she has been local all her life.
Kind regards
Tom

Hello Tom, thanks for your reply.
My boats name is Lady Ann and we keep her in East Cowes Marina.
I will have a good look around in the engine bay and also where the cables connect to the gearbox.
I did 1 year French at school, English was our first foreign language in Germany. French was optional, tried it and didn't get on with it.
We may see you in the Solent sometime.
All the best Harald
