Hello all I have recently purchased a used Sun Odyssey 40.3 and as i cannot get hold of the owner hope that someone on this forum can help. The boat has a Carica Battery charger model EPC70002 which seems to be in continuous charge mode even when the batteries are fully charged. The cooling fan does not go off.The supplier has told me to reduce the input voltage to the charger but i have no idea how to go about doing this.Any advice ? thanks, Norman.

Hi Norman Regret I don't think this will help much, but there is a very short english manual you can download at: tinyurl.com/yjogoxbut it looks to me like it is automatic with no manual adjustment You could try an email to: info@sic-divisione-elettronica.it Malcolm

Hi my 40.3 charger fan stays on also, my dealer said this is normal and as it is noisy at night you have to turn it off. I have just been informed by a electrician that the standard house batteries are not deep cycle batteries which was a surprise to me.
