I recently bought a SO 34.2 and my predecessor did not know to install properly the VHF and FM-Radio into the navigation panel. Has anyone an idea how to mount this equipment? Would be very grateful for a reply.

I also have a SO34.2.The VHF and Cartype radio are mounted to the right of the nav table below the bookshelf.Ther is plenty of space available in this are if toy unscre the panels inside the bookshelf. I have upgraded the VHF (RAY 240e) and now have the main unit mounted under the nav table and the control mike at the companionway. If you get in touch I can give tou more info.

:DHi Paul342 The following info should solve the problem. I found this device, which works as an active switch between VHF and radio at Niemeyer Yacht supplies in Germany (http://en.awn-shop.de/shop/produktdetails/0410104).
GLOMEX is an Italian manufacturer, but I did not find any info on this switch on their site.
GLOMEX Antennenweiche RA 201
