I've had my offer accepted on a 2016 Jeanneau 795. I will need to move it from northeastern Long Island to the Chesapeake Bay. I don't want to drive it on the water, it seems too far to be cruising her on her maiden voyage. I'd like to rent or buy a trailer to tow it back myself. Is there anyone here that has a trailer for their 795 that they would rent or sell to me? Also, does anyone know the brand of trailer Jeanneau uses for their trailers and where they buy them? Thanks!

The brand of trailer is probably more specific the the local dealer, as to who the represent.
I noticed today at a local Freedom Boat Club maintenance yard, they had ALL of their boats sitting on EZ-Rider aluminum trailers. Later at Inventech, they use a different brand Aluminum trailer yet! Many of those boats are 30-35' long 10-20k lbs or more on triple 10 stud 10k+ axles. Vs the EZ-Riders with twin 3500-4000 lb 5 stud axles.
Any trailer that has the payload, length, ability to properly support the boat, has a braking system that works, you have a proper tow rig to move a 6-8000 lb setup. You are good to go. As long as the wieght is properly balance etc too.

I have a 2019 NC 795 and purchased the trailer from the dealer with the boat. The trailer is a Venture aluminum model VATB6425, two axles with brakes on front axle only. Total weight of boat not to exceed 6,425 lbs. I think Venture trailers are made in Edgemere Maryland.
I've had no problems with the trailer but I only tow the boat from South Jersey down to the Sassafras River in the spring and back home in the fall. I tow with a Ford F150, 5.0 V8 with tow rating of 9000 lbs. The boat pulls great and I've towed up to 75 MPH with no problem, however if there's a strong wind you have to keep it down to around 55.
