I have a Sun Odyssey 32.2 … the indicator light for shorepower on the switch panel has stopped working … the shore power is still working though. Do I just need to wire in an ordinary led? Or is there anything special about this? Appreciate any advice. Thanks

You are working with high voltage which can be deadly. I would suggest having a qualified electrician do this.

The indicator light is not on the high-power AC current. Can you access it without going close to any high-power AC lines? If you have a voltmeter you can see what DC voltage it runs at and then purchase a replacement at any electronics store or on-line.

Well on further investigation this indicator light is on the AC circuit. It looks like a neon bulb which has broken up.

Do you have a multimeter to check that with? Is the panel a Scheiber?

Not sure if "Blue Seas" products are available in your part of the world. They have a few colors of small led bulbs for AC and DC panels. Not sure if they will fit in your brand of panal....

Marty Thanks for this. Yes it is a Scheiber panel. It was definitely a neon bulb originally. But I have found a Blue Seas Led item which should be a straightforward replacement. So thanks for that pointer.
