I'm Owner of a Sun Odyssey 410 New delivery 2020. After only one charter season I could observe that the lower part of the framework of the doors of the heads is damaged due to the humidity. I’m in the opinion that this shouldn’t happen as it is known in advance that these doorframes are mounted in a frequent humid area. The varnish is peeling off, the wood is discolouring and wet. Think this will be difficult to claim warranty to Jeanneau. It looks like the ends of wood have not been properly painted. I tried to avoid further degradation. During last wintertime the doorframes had the possibility to completely dry. At the beginning of the season the affected area's have been sanded and new mono component PUR Varnish (satin) applied. Now I see it's better withstanding the humidity but I'm not happy with colour difference. Can some one provide me correct information for coloured varnish or paint, with high humidity resistance, in order that I can redo the job? This way I hope that the repair will be less noticeable. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hi
I have the same problem and my 410 is June 22! This is not good enough and poor finish to the ends. Sorry I don’t know the answer but just to let you know you are not alone with this problem.
I would also like to know who else has these problems as there is strength in numbers when we complain to Jeanneau!!
