Hello Jeanneau Owners Forum. I recently took delivery of a 7.5CC with a 300 HP yamaha. When at the dealers yard I checked the tilt function and the steering system brackets would make contact with the transom before a full tilt-up is accomplished. Is this a design flaw or is there an adjustment available to allow the motor to tilt such that the bullet and prop can be completely out of the water when at my slip?
Additional item. Once I had the boat home and in my driveway, I noticed a small section (about 4 inches long, two inches high) at the keel line at the transom where the fibreglass is " off colour". In stead of bright white, it is more of a cream colour. Furthermore, at that point there is a modest wave in the materials as opposed to a perfectly smooth surface.
I have contacted the dealer to ask if there had been a non-disclosed repair to that area of the boat, or is this a simple issue that may have occurred when the hull was removed from the mold. I welcome thoughts and can add pictures in a follow-up post.
