Hi All, I have a 2007 36i. There's a switch on the panel labelled "ELECT. NAVIGATION NAV. INSTRUMENTS". It's currently somehow wired to my autopilot and I'm trying to trace the wiring to replace that wire. Unfortunately I can't figure out how the wire that emerges at the autopilot is tied into the switch. The electrical diagram labels the switch as "24" and shows it leading to something called "59" but there's no explanation of what "59" is. I assume it's some kind of wiring harness. Looking at the back of the panel, I can see where the switch is soldered into the PC board but I can't figure out where it goes from there. Any suggestions on how I can access the output of that switch? Thanks in advance David

Hi David,
From memory, that switch controls a small bus bar which is located around the top left corner behind the electrical panel. It is "well hidden"!
Hope this helps, Cheers, Allegria

Hi David, the switch operates a relay ( item 57). It is located behind the switch panel in the location between the 12 volt and 240 volt plastic ducting. It is the relay on the left of the two relays there. Item 59 is the little busbar just to the left of the relays.
Good luck with it.

Ah, I've wondered what those relays do. Once I knew what to look for I found this and this on the schematics. Thanks for the help! David P.S. I'm now wondering what does "58" control? I.e. "Relay Box - Exterior Tractor". Electric winch? Agricultural equipment?

I think relay 58 is controlled by the AUX switch on the panel. One way to find out is to throw the switch while holding or listening to the relay and see if it activates. The little busbar, item 59 is divided into two. One section is activated by the "Navigation" switch and the other activated by the "Aux" switch.
Regards,
Trevor
