I have a SO 29.2 and I am about to service the engine.
The diesel fuel filter is a filtres Parflux PP98DN. Does anyone have an experience with these filters?
It seems to be a one piece alumimium filter and not the usual two part filter with the glass bowl.
Is the filter inside removable?
Who sells replacement filters in UK?

Your fuel filter is an all in one disposable variaty, like an oil filter. While I know nothing about that brand, My diesel trucks, heavy equipment all use a filter like you describe.
You may be able to cross reference a different brand filter at you local auto parts, or marine distributor. I usually go to an auto parts outlet to cross reference many filters to another brand.

Actually it is not a PP98DN - that is the carrier assembly. What you need is a Purflux CN135 But you dont actually need one, as it is washable in fuel. Suggest you wash it in a pan of petrol or paraffin and dry it out. The instruction for this is printed somewhat dimly on the fileter retainer bowl!
If you do want to buy a spare, go here:
Please find below the contact details for one of our UK distributors:
Company: Wida Components
Location: Bradford, UK
Phone No: 00 44 (0) 1274 304499
Havent found an alternative supplier for the Yanmar fuel filter yet though.
The oil filter is also available from Wida, an LS982, same as:- Hinda Insight 1,0 Kia Pride 1.0 & 1.3 Subaru Justy Nissan Almera
PS, this is good for most Jeanneaus in the range......

There are in fact 2 filters the purflux one and the paper filter attached to the Yanmar motor itself . the second one have to be replaced every 300 running hours. and by a genuine spare part.
