Does anyone have the measurements for an in-mast main sail for a 43DS? Mine blew out today, just as someone asked "How old is that sail?" I am in Mexico and I am going to need all the help i can get.

Check with Chuck at Ullman's San Diego yard. He has a rep in Seattle, that is also a Jeanneau dealer sales rep. He also in in Mexico a bit, not that I know where he goes monthly to work on clients sails, and race with them vs where you are! Could be a good contact to come up with something.
I got a carbon 155 that is working pretty well last fall, and have two other jibs coming in the next 3'ish weeks or so.
The only numbers I can find are the brochure numbers, and that is only the Sq ft which shows 366. No I, P, E, J measurements.

I have found the I, J P and E dimensions for the 43DS on this website at www.jeanneau.fr/inventaire/inventaire_1_20080303_5_SunOdyssey43DSInventaire.pdf on page 1. My sailmaker will make my new mainsail from the measurements that he made when he visited the boat (Sun Light 30) last week. He measured the length of the luff and foot by hoisting the end of his tape measure on the main halyard and by measuring the length of the boom. He did measure for the leech length as well. If there is a local sailmaker where you are in Mexico, could you start by asking him? Otherwise, perhaps you could send the damaged sail to your preferred sailmaker for him to examine? He should then be able to give you a quotation for a new one. John

Yes, the Jeanneau website given will show you all the measurements. It is also in the Owners Manual but i have just ordered some new sails for my 2004 43ds and the sail loft came to take all the measurements bec they say that even though one might expect all the boats in a series to be the same , they are very often slightly different. In addition they said that if a boat manufacturer wanted them to make sails for a whole series of the same model they would usually make the sails slightly too small to cater for the differences in the rigging of the same model. I always wondered why the original sails on a new Beneteau Oceanis that i bought many moons ago were slightly too small and it is only now that i have discovered the reason. Andrew "Genial Bee"
