Thanks for the video, very well done.
The numbers with Yamaha seem quite underwhelming compared to what I see with the mercury proxs V8 250 I have.
Just came back from a trip, I constantly see 1.9-2.0 mpg at 3500rpm, 30mph, which is a very comfortable cruising speed.
At 4000rpm, I see around 1.7mpg at 37-38mph, which is a nice fast cruising speed.
Tried again WOT, medium light, I see 54.2mph, 1.2mpg, 5700rpm
Last point is something I'm investigating as I may be a overpropped, I should hit 6000-6200 rpm light. Probably with some fine tuning I can get the same general numbers but better holeshot, again very hard to tell because the boat is already a rocket to go up to plane etc.

Or one of these supercharged 557hp (or 627hp) babies from Seven Marine.... Hehehe... 1) with one of these heavy bad boys the boat may sunk directly... 2) the company has been shut down a couple of week ago by its parent company Volvo...so stay clear!

About Verado waterline I wrote 1 inch between waterline and drain plug bottom, but I realized that when I took the picture of the water level below portside drain plug I was on the portside swimming plateform, portside engine full tilt So it is more than 1 inch.
