Sorry Mark I can't tell you the exact position as our boat is 1,000 miles away but what I can warn you to is the fact that the paddle wheel falls directly under the forward sling. Don't lift without removing it and putting a blank in otherwise you will get one crushed paddle wheel which will be a heap of trouble to replace.
Any experienced hoist man/person will know the approximate position from previous lifts and if not would make the lift in stages ensuring the boat is balanced before finally lifting clear. If you are not being lifted by a travel hoist but by a crane make sure they are going to use spacers others there is a tendency to squeeze the hull.
Good luck.

Thanks Alenka, paddle wheel plug at the ready. And yes, they should know but i've seen boats both damaged and dropped by experienced yards hence caution.

Last spring for my annual haulout, I forgot to pull the paddle and use the plug. I noticed after boat was in the sling that the sling did in fact cover the paddle wheel. I told the yard about my concern and to be ready to replace the crushed thru-hull or at least the damaged paddle when they put me back in water. The yard manager told me it most likely not be a problem as he had hauled other Jeanneau DS 43s without damage to paddle. He was correct and the paddle worked fine after returning to water. I do not recommend this, but I had no damage despite my negligence.
