FYI: I have bought 2 other TDS meters from ebay and Aliexpress ( the one with the led lights) and they stop working reliably very shortly after first use - and slowly got fedup with them... After I got a electric scooter Xiaomi - I'm now addicted to Xiaomi brand - everything that I have from Xiami ( Scooter, batteries, meters, headsets etc.) is amazing quality. amazing price and works forever

I have one of those cheap meters for checking the purity of water coming out of the watermaker ( desalinator). The watermaker has a salinity sensor but I have used the little meter for calibration purposes. I have had it a couple of years and it was so cheap I’m amazed it still works ok.

I have a Xiaomi phone and am going to buy another for my wife when I get home (they are actually cheaper in Greece but I can't get it delivered before leaving for UK). It uses Android One and gets monthly updates, unlike most branded versions of Android. No crapware either, just basic Android. Survived a recent dunking in the med. as well. Main problem is learning to pronounce the brand name properly when asked about the phone (I have that sorted now ).
