What ho everyone. The throttle handle/lever on my SO44i is really low down by the starboard helm, which means one always has to bend over almost double to adjust speed particularly when mooring - not convenient. Has anyone, by any chance, changed the position of the throttle on their boat to be more manageable? e.g. to the side seat? Would be interested to hear any experiences TIA

I either sit down, or control the throttle with my foot. My last boat had the throttle in a similar location so foot control is what I am used to anyway.

Yes, I sit down and I'm used to it, having been doing it for 10 years. It was just a passing thought, since I'm now 10 years older and the joints start to creak
