Hello, I am trying to find other boats with Stack pack main sail on a 43DS instead of the furling main. My reef line rigging configuration seems unique. The previous owner made a type of soft shackle for the turning blocks for the reef line coming down from the boom to the base of the mast then to the cabin top. Looking at my boom and reef points, the stainless D-ring slide looks like it would fit properly in the stainless steel hardware connection at the base of the mast instead of the amsteel soft shackles. I am just wondering if anybody has a source for these, or a proper name for the piece. thank you for your help. it seems these were made to fit in the slots at the aft of the base of the mast

We have the same type of D-ring attachments on our boom. The boom is from Z Spars i France so you can try with them. But what is the problem with the soft shackles? I am slowly migrating to soft shackles on many parts of the boat. Less rattling noise and less risk that SS shackles bend and break when loaded in unusual angles.

Maybe I just need to replace them to get more life out of them. Thanks for the reply
