Hi all Can anyone advise me how I can adjust the throttle friction on my Yamaha 6X3 Single Engine Flush Mount remote control? The throttle lever is a bit stiff and it's the only owner's manual missing from my MF755
Thanks in advance Tom

Islaymist,
Welcome to the forum. I’m not sure the model Number of my throttle control. But to adjust pop off the peanut shaped cover on the housing fwd of the lever. Use an Allen wrench on the nut inside. Turn counterclockwise to decrease resistance.

Thanks for the reply Capt'n Lynn I reckoned that's where it would be but when I popped the cover earlier in the week and found nothing but GRP underneath - no screws at all! Strange!
Regards Tom

Hi, I've exactly the same issue (accept that my throttle slips back), popped the cover and just consol under it no screws. Did you solve this in the end? I really need a fix for this!
