But is is not really "in one", is it? It is just both sold as a package. Marelon is one of two leading brands in plastic through hulls and seacocks, the other being Tru Design. A few years ago Marelon had some bad press following quality issues (failures), but that might have improved.

It seems that the truhull directly bolts on the tap - and the tap is laying on the hull e.g not separate parts but one design thing - e.g taking less space (I have issue with spaces around my truhulls)

Have you looked at the cost difference usin TruDesign. From svb24.com a 1/2” valve is €48 and a thro hull is €10. I can measure up our 1/2 inch valves if that would help.
Also I couldn’t find out which Certifying Authority certified the Marelon valves.

I don't think Tru Design is a good option if space is an issue. The Tru Design seacocks are larger than normal brass seacocks.
