After my last trip in Italy I decided to replace my mooring lines. The old ones were 8 m and that was a bit to short in some cases. More than 10 m is not very handy and anyhow, I have longer lines in reserve.
As usual there are several options regarding qualities and materials. Any suggestions?

I use nylon mooring lines for their elasticity, helps soften some of the shock loads.

I’ve been buying nylon double braid from blue ox rope. Good specs and easy to splice. Available in bulk, 100-500 ft at good prices direct or from amazon.

I get trade rates for FSE Robline, and got a couple of braided 16 mm @ 12m long last year only to find they were annoyingly too short, given that we tend to leave them slipped overnight (not officially best practice, but a good idea in Greece IMO to keep control on the boat and avoid any problems with tipsy tourists). I'll not get anything less than 15 m again, especially as I was being ikey trying to save money going with 12m and ended up paying retail price in Nidri (albeit with a generous rounding down from my usual guy there as he's had so much money off me over the last few years as it is lol)

I usually buy a new pair every Southampton Boat Show for the next season - prespliced etc - for my 34 footer price is £15 for pair...

If you are UK based try outdoor xscape, The Rope Company, they are based in the South East and sell Kingfisher double braid dock line in many sizes and colours at very competitive prices, if required, they will also finish the ropes for you with very proffessional splicing and whipped ends. I had made up 3 x 15 meters and 2 x 20 meters using 20 mm black all with a soft splice at one end and the other whipped. They even suggested whipping the two longer lines with a different colour so as to identify the lengths quickly.
