Hi All I am selling my three-year-old Jeanneau 389, Albertine, a superb boat - deep keel, one rudder, two cabin version - in mint condition with one of the best fit-outs in the class. This includes all the best running rigging options, the Technique Voile mainsail and 135% genoa, a superb North Sails asymmetric in a cruising chute, the Technique Voile Code Zero, a Batt Sails Solent staysail and an unused storm jib. Other highlights include the bimini, carbon wheels, heating, Iridium Go! hardware for the PredictWind weather service, B&G Zeus T7 plotter, B&G 3G Radar, AIS (transmit and receive) and a carbon-fibre whisker pole supplied by Allspars. The boat is now available for viewing at Sea Ventures at Swanwick on the UK south coast near Southampton. Please contact them through the link below. Hi Chris
Boat now sold. I had just competed a 4,000nm solo trip on her in the Atlantic (to Madeira and Azores and back to UK) and decided it was time to move on. I wish you all the best with the boat. They are superb sailing machines. Mine was deep keel, single rudder which I think is the best configuration. If you need any advice on stuff by all means come back...
All the best and fair winds
Ed

Thank you, Ed!
Sounds like you enjoyed the boat.
We sail on the Great Lakes (fresh water) and shoal keel is what we ordered.
We also ordered a Code 0 which I have never used before.
The only thing we didn't order was the electric winch which is only for the main traveler and main sail.

Chris A power winch is something that I would not have ordered myself, but our boat came with that option and I have to say I love it! It makes hoisting the classic main very easy, and it allows my wife to hoist me up the mast to do maintenance and repairs, (or just take photos!)

We ordered the furling main so I guess that even makes it less a necessity!
Hope you like your 389!
