I just completed a survey and sea trial of a 2015 so379. One area of concern was the boat had a 3 degree list to port. Water tank was full and fuel tank read 1/2 full. The current owner added 4 6b batteries and a 2000w inverter all in the port garage. We completely drained the port water tank but still registered a 1 to 1.5 degree list. Is this anything I should be concerned about? It was quite noticeable and more pronounced than any of the other Jeanneaus in the marina. Otherwise the boat looked in good shape.

We find our 379 to be very sensitive to loads on the port side. By and large, we have stopped using the port aft water tank and try to keep the fuel tank near full. I have moved all heavy spares from the aft garage to under settee storage on the starboard side. There is no other way to combat that battery weight overloading to port. By doing the above, we sit straight up on our lines.

It’s been my experience with 2 different Jeanneau models (SO35, SO439), if the fuel gauge says 1/2 it is probably much lower than that.
