Hi Henry, congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum. You will find this a good place to meet like minded sailors and share your experiences. How about post a little introduction to yourself in the Welcome section so we know who your are.
I don’t know where you sail, but in this country, spray hoods seem to be mostly made by independent contractors who measure up your boat, bend the frames to suit and make the canvas to fit. Have a look at what is on other boats in your area, take note of the manufacturer of any you like, and make a list of the features that appeal to you. We have had many threads on the subject and this country seems to be somewhat typical of how the industry is organised in most places.
Welcome to the forum. I am a bit of a "do it yourselfer" and have just finished a spray hood (dodger) for our boat. It takes a bit of patience but can save some money and provide a great way to tear your hair out for a few days.
If you decide to do something yourself I would be happy to provide some tips that may help. Otherwise as rene460 suggests, marine trimmers will listen to your needs and make one for you. Perhaps see some of the work they do prior to engaging them for the job just to make sure you are happy with what they produce.
